I will be at the Yale House Residence and Social Club this weekend. Also, Yale House Dot Net is a blank page.

Beer Batch 3
Dear Friends of Das Yalehaus,

Beer number three has just begun the path to enlightenment. I'm having a hard time coming up with a name once again. Some possibilities are as follows: Showgirls' Christmas Special, Tongue Hockey with Ginger, Santa's Lap Dance. The beer should be a fairly heavy porter-style ale that has been smoothed and cleaned with copious amounts of ginger and molasses. Perfect for that Christmas Eve cane striping.

Beer number two is just about ready for consumption! It will be ready, in fact, just in time for a visit from a recent YH alumnus and crowd favorite! Get in touch with us at the house for more details about the festivities surrounding this next momentous weekend.

new beer naming poll!
Here are the two contenders. Dave wanted the first phrase, but SOMEONE didn't like it, so I agreed to poll our user base!

1) "This Tranny Is About To Go Post-Op"

as for the brew, it will be a feverishly hopped medium-light ale. at the moment, it tastes spectacular. Please vote! We want to hear your comments.

Verizon Brilliance
So, Yale-House folks-- it's not that I don't trust you to respond to email, it's just that I know you all. I also know that the person most likely to actually respond to this does not actually live in Yale House.

So, you signed for my phone. Fedex delivered it to you, and you signed for it. You also didn't tell me. That was silly. I would like to have the phone, so it'd be cool if you could send it to me. Otherwise, Fedex will take it from you, send it back to Verizon, Verizon will fuck up my address again, will send it back to you, Fedex will take it from you again, and then I will storm the Verizon sales office with some sort of nasty weapon.

Please let me know.

Edit: I have spoken with sikonawt, so I have a little faith. :)

Der Yalehaus Biergarten
Das Yalehaus invites you to visit it as some point to taste its most recent addition to the fridge, a homemade dunkel weizen, code-named "The Final Solution". We can get away with this because Dave is half-Jewish.

The next brew is going to be a seriously hopped medium-light ale. I'm thinking of naming it "Die Hippies Die", but we're still taking suggestions. The funnier/more offensive, the better.

Now that we're mostly present and accounted for...
Poll #566473 2005-09 martini party

Should the next martini party at my place be:

17 September 2005
24 September 2005

The temptation to make those checkboxes rather than radio buttons is high, but I'm restraining it.

(The idea here, is "vote for what you can make." Especially those of you out of town.)

Prison camp.
[Mark, Raf, Sean: ignore the markup, read the real text, see http://www.livejournal.com/~yalehouse/]

Okay, these punks have been unceremoniously added to yalehouse, because I know you:

You should all have emails about this already.

(flurious started this silliness, he's already there.)

n0r1_h & stepleton, let me know if you care. Or, you know, just click the links on yalehouse's userinfo.

Did I miss anyone who's ever lived there that exists on livejournal?

Unfortunately, Mark, Raf, and Sean, looks like OpenID doesn't work for communities (HEY brad!), but you could create a free account here and subscribe to the RSS feed if you felt like it.

Topics of conversation are... I dunno, what? Starting a prank war with swarthmore?

Essence of Yale House.

Essence of Yale House.
Long un-emptied ash tray, empty beer bottles, crappy wine (which proceeded to go untouched, duh; it was a hand-me-down from a neighbor), empty Starbucks cups, a couple bags of Bali Shag (smoke shop was closed for Labor Day), ... Learning Perl (flurious), burned DVD, and three (3) Powerbooks (Raf's, mine, and flurious's). Yeah, that just about says it.

Cross-post seemed apropos...
